This green roof hosts native plants and perennial food producing plants in 8” of media across the entire space. One side is dedicated to being a wild food producing forest with grape, strawberry, fig, hardy kiwi, currants, bush cherry, asparagus, blackberry, and many herbs. The other is a native habitat and sitting space made from reclaimed lumber and bluestone.
