Nature Based installed the green roof system, reclaimed wood deck, and fiberglass planters for this gut renovation of a Greenpoint apartment building in late summer 2018. The green roof has native wildflowers and grasses set in 4" of media. Plant species were chosen for their ability to withstand drought, reliability in shallow media, bloom time, and color aesthetics.
