Nature Based designed and built a functional garden and gathering space into small narrow vacant courtyard for the International High School for Health Science in Elmhurst, Queens. Galvanized steel stock tanks planted with natives and food producing perennials were installed throughout the space, reclaimed 12”x12” lumber as seating elements, a three-bin compost system, and smaller stock tank planters for growing leafy greens and herbs.
