PS 139 is located in the Flatbush / Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Nature Based serves as the ecological educator, designer, and builder for PS 139. We run year-long ecological education programs for the lower grades and a specialized green roof design curriculum for the upper grades. We have also activated many of the underutilized front areas of the school and helped transform them into productive growing and playing spaces.
